Cleaning your lint screen after every load of laundry is very important in prolonging the life of your dryer. It will also save you money on your power bill. Cleaning the lint screen improves the airflow through your dryer, making your dryer run cooler and reducing your drying times.
The picture shows what happens when you don’t clean your lint screen after each load of laundry. You can clearly see the lint screen has 2 sections on it. You can see how the lint built up on each section until the screen was totally covered with lint. Not surprisingly the dryer was not drying the clothes efficiently when we arrived. Removed all the lint from the dryer and cleaned the vent going to the outside. Airflow was improved and the customer is now drying the clothes efficiently.
